A wonderful walking tour that highlighted the Aboriginal peoples harmony with the landscape and their familial connections to the land, the animals and each other. If anyone is interested in developing a greater knowledge of the First Nation people groups I would highly recommend joining one of these tours.
We had a fantastic tour with Margret - we felt so lucky and honoured to have just our party of 6 (3 adults and 3 kids). The tour was so interesting, illuminating, perfectly pitched at our group from 5 - 68 years old. We learnt so much and would love to hear more b
Had such an amazing time on this tour. Learned so many interesting things about the Aboriginal people and it really opened my eyes to the many amazing things about the culture. The tour was made memorable with the various "props", pictures and pointing out of scenery and how it relates to the Aboriginal people. Thanks so much Amanda for being a wonderful guide.
Amanda was our guide and did everything with a big smile on her face. It was fascinating to hear about the aboriginal way of life and how they lived in the Rocks area. However it was slightly embarrassing to be British when she told us of how we British changed things once we egan to colonise the city with our convicts. A great way to spend a hour or so, highly recommended.
We were guided by the lovely Amanda, who was delightful. She told us about the tribal history of the Aboriginal people and showed us how they lived in the area. It was a slow-paced tour allowing plenty of time for questions and friendly chat.
This is a superb tour and a must for anyone visiting Sydney. James is a truly great guide to Australian Indigenous culture in Sydney and he taught us so much in a clear, witty and memorable way. He was very interesting and enlightening for every minute of the easy walking tour which took us exploring off the tourist trail. Highly recommended for all ages and well worth the trip! Well done!
This was a wonderful tour! We took our team on this to expand our understanding of local indigenous history and culture. Hearing stories from Aunty Margret around the Rocks was so engaging and helped us appreciate the Aboriginal connection with the land. Absolutely recommend for business or pleasure!
