Since 1859, five generations of Morris family winemakers have been producing world class fortified and red table wines led Muscat and Durif, a unique variety pioneered by fourth generation winemaker Mick Morris.
Today, 5th generation family winemaker David Morris continues the to build on the legacy left by his forbears. His Estate grown wines are all handcrafted from hand-picked grapes off old dry grown vineyards and traditional winemaking techniques employed to produce wine of outstanding regional character.
Already one of Australia's most highly awarded winemakers, (over 4,250 since DAvid toook the reins in 1993) Morris Wines continues to be awarded Trophies, medals and outstanding reviews both in Australia and Internationally. Recent awards include the Trophies for the 'Best Fortified Muscat' at the 2013 International Wine Competition in London together with four gold medals at the same event and two gold medals at the 2013 Decanter World Wine Awards.
Visitors are welcome at the historic winery where guests 18 years of age and over can taste the full range of wines on offer. Wines may be purchased and can be couriered to your door for a nominal fee. Within Australia only.
