Landcruiser Mountain Park at Jimna, just two hours from Brisbane via Kilcoy, is a working cattle property and Queensland's first privately owned wilderness park designed for off-road and bush camping enthusiasts. There are 250 kilometres of specially designed four wheel drive trails, varying in standard to suit beginner and experienced off-road drivers.
Visitors may camp anywhere on the property. Rated as one of the top ten camping spots in South East Queensland, the park has grassed, shady camping areas beside the creeks where you can relax around the campfire and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Australian bush.
Four wheel drive and two wheel drive vehicles can access all the main camping areas with trailers, vans and campervans. Figtree camping area is available for camping with large caravans and motor homes, it has gas hot showers and toilets provided with handicap facilities. Dogs are allowed but no motorbikes.
The park office carries drinks, ice, milk, bread. Basic supplies including fuel, gas refills and groceries can be replenished from Kilcoy which is 60 kilometres away. A public payphone is located at the office. The park should be regarded as a wilderness area in every sense.
